Mandatory materials
For the 56 km race, it is compulsory to carry the following items with you for the entire duration of the race:
- ID;
- a hydration pack or bottle holder containing at least one litre of drink;
- a race number that is clearly visible throughout the race;
- a survival blanket;
- a whistle;
- a mobile phone that is switched on but with the ringtone turned off;
- a waterproof jacket with a built-in hood, made from a Goretex-type membrane with a minimum waterproof rating of 10,000 mm, suitable for withstanding adverse weather conditions during the race;
- a cup, glass or water bottle;
- suitable footwear.
Checkpoints will be set up along the course, where event staff will monitor the athletes’ progress and check their compulsory equipment. Anyone who refuses to submit to a check of the mandatory equipment will be immediately disqualified. It is the competitors’ responsibility to comply with these criteria. In the event of a check during the race, the judge/steward will verify compliance with the race regulations.
For the 26km short race, it is mandatory to carry the following equipment with you for the entire duration of the race:
- ID;
- hydration pack or bottle holder containing at least half a litre of liquid;
- windbreaker;
- cup, glass or water bottle;
- suitable footwear.
The compulsory equipment may be worn or carried inside the race rucksack.
Checkpoints will be set up along the route, where race officials will monitor the athletes’ progress and may check the compulsory equipment.
Anyone who refuses to undergo the compulsory equipment check will be immediately disqualified.
It is strongly recommended that you bring the following items, particularly for the long route:
- long-sleeved top;
- long trousers or trousers that cover at least the knees;
- hat or bandana;
- gloves;
- waterproof trousers;
- energy bars or solid food;
- some cash in case you need to buy food at the mountain huts;
- elastic bandage.
The use of walking poles is permitted.
