26KM race

The 26Km is a race covering approximately 26.8 km, with 1,230 metres of elevation gain and 1,400 metres of elevation loss. The race starts in the centre of Cortina d’Ampezzo and finishes in Zuel, at the Olympic Ski Jump. The route passes through some of the main Olympic venues, including the Olympic Ice Stadium, the Eugenio Monti bobsleigh track, Col Drusciè, the Tofana (Olimpia) slopes and the Zuel Ski Jump. The estimated time for the first competitor is around 2.5 hours, whilst the maximum time is set at 7 hours. Refreshment points are provided at Piè Tofana (6 km), Rif. Pomedes (9.30 km) e Lago d’Ajal (18 km).
