56KM race

The 56Km is a race covering approximately 56.5 km, with 2,800 metres of elevation gain and 2,890 metres of elevation loss. The start is scheduled to take place in the centre of Cortina d’Ampezzo, with the finish in Zuel, at the Olympic Ski Jump. The route connects various Olympic venues, including Faloria (Vitelli slope – “Ilio Colli”), the Campo cross-country ski trail and the Zuel Ski Jump. The estimated time for the first competitor is around 6.5 hours, whilst the time limit is set at 11 hours. Refreshment points are provided at Tondi di Faloria (12 km), Passo Tre Croci (18 km – 4-hour time gate), Fiames (30 km), Piè Tofana (47 km – 7.5-hour time gate), Rifugio Pomedes (40 km) and Lago d’Ajal (49 km).
