Pairs may be formed in the men&#8217;s, women&#8217;s, or mixed categories. The race will be divided into two stages, with a mandatory changeover in a designated area marked out by the organisers.<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For the Cortina 56K, the transition area will be located at the refreshment point in Loc. Fiames (after 28 km and 1500 d+).<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For the Cortina 26K, the transition area will be located in the Duca d\u2019Aosta area (after 10 km and 1,180 m of elevation gain) along the descent from Rif. Pomedes. <\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The handoff must take place through physical contact between the two runners within the designated area, under penalty of a penalty or disqualification.
