The \u201cCORTINA 56\u201326\u201d race takes place in an alpine setting of rare beauty: the Belluno Dolomites, recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The \u201cPale Mountains\u201d are distinguished by their incomparable aesthetic and scenic value and were even described by the architect Le Corbusier as \u201cthe most beautiful architectural work in the world\u201d.<\/p>

At the heart of this majestic landscape lies Cortina d\u2019Ampezzo, the \u201cQueen of the Dolomites\u201d: a showcase of exclusivity and a cultural hub of excellence, Cortina is also the custodian of a rich heritage in sports tourism, thanks to the 1956 Winter Olympics, the countless high-level international sporting events organised over the decades, and the latest Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. <\/span><\/p>

Did you know? With this new experience under its belt, Cortina d’Ampezzo has become the fourth resort in the world to host the Winter Games twice, after St Moritz, Lake Placid and Innsbruck. <\/span><\/p>
